Update: Child exploitation investigation, Townsville

Police have charged a man and two women following the closure of Operation Tango Rosetta, an investigation into child exploitation in Townsville.

The three-month operation focused on a Townsville based syndicate of people who allegedly procured children for exploitation purposes over the past two years.

The victims range in age from one month to 14-years-old.

A 64-year-old Kelso man has been charged with three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 and two counts of distribute child exploitation material.

He has also been charged with conduct business involving servitude, making child exploitation material, procure prostitution, using a carriage service to engage in sexual activity with a child under 16, indecent treatment of…
