Together with The Raine Island Recovery Project Team, the Traditional Owners of Raine Island – Wuthathi People and Meriam Nation (Ugar, Mer, Erub) – today departed on a trip to Raine Island to monitor the turtle hatchlings numbers for the last part of the hatchlings season! The Traditional Owners are foundational partners of the Project and play a significant role in the scientific research and monitoring of Raine Island.
